Qualifications
Must have 3 years experience in splicing. Must be able to test thru CWDM & DWDM Muxes and do testing. Mostly loose tube fiber but some ribbon in places. Troubleshooting skills are a must!
Other Requirements
Must have all common hand tools, specialty equipment will be provided and the knowledge to properly splice, test and document fiber splices and pathing in a timely manner. Must be capable to trouble shoot issues that arise. Must have all documentation complete within 24 hours to go with the daily reports. Pictures with GPS reading on them will be required with all documentation.
Job Description
STC is looking for quality minded persons to splice Fiber. We have work available right now! You need 3-5 years of experience in the construction and splicing fields and the knowledge of how to build and splice Fiber to customer specs. The work includes all aspects of fiber splicing and includes, commercial, maintenance, SDU, Forced Relos and other projects as they come along. We are mainly looking for in-house at this time but subs will be considered. Pay is 2 weeks from end of work week, then weekly after that point.
