Job Description

If you are an individual with 5-7 years of experience managing people and projects in the Cable or Telecommunications Industry, this opportunity may be for you. Responsible for all administrative, operational, and financial responsibilities involved in running a successful location.

Responsibilities:
• Accurately forecast resource requirements based on completion deadlines.
• Forecast, order and manage material usage requirements.
• Ensure the project gets completed on time and within budget with focus on account management.
• Participate in preparation and review of estimates with attention to the following: adherence to cost control system, equipment requirements and utilization, constructability, materials, manpower, general conditions, schedule, insurance, etc.
• Ensure technical services operate within approved operating and capital budgets.
• Analyze operations, identify performance issues and make corrective action while maintaining profitable daily MSO workload within all required time frames and specifications.
• Communicate all project related issues and concerns to immediate supervisor in a professional and timely manner and make recommendations for improvement.
• Identify, monitor and address problem areas and work to eliminate customer service/quality control issues and
• Act as a direct liaison between our customers and Management.
• Establish workable quotas.
• Monitor completion percentage and verify all non-completed jobs.
• Monitor project results through standardized project and quality control reporting procedures.
• Monitor revenues generated by tech and the profitability of technicians.
• Analyze and improve existing procedures and implement changes to better organize the team/department.
• Resolve escalated customer issues quickly and in a manner that satisfies the customer; educate employees associated with the issue to resolve such issues without further escalation.
• Ensure accurate and timely completion of all company and customer required paperwork.
• Ensure proper coordination of project personnel schedules and ensure adequate staffing.
• Ensure thorough and proper training of all project personnel.
• Proactively address employee performance issues or concerns through coaching, counseling and evaluations.
• Conduct weekly staff meetings to ensure consistent communication and meet safety requirements.
• Perform regular “ride-outs” to ensure quality, safety and customer service requirements are being met.
• Monitor and track employee overtime and identify and correct any inefficiencies.
• Compile daily reports: job schedules and jobs completed for each technician.
